What is an LPC-Associate?

An LPC-Associate is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has completed their master’s degree in counseling, passed the necessary licensing exams, and is now completing supervised clinical hours to gain full licensure. While I’m an LPC-Associate, I am under the supervision of Dr. Gregory S. Sparrow, LPC-S, to ensure I provide the highest quality of care.

What are your hours of operation?

I offer flexible hours to accommodate your schedule, including evenings and some weekends. I limit myself to 6 sessions Monday – Friday, and 2 sessions on Saturday. Monday & Friday sessions availability range from 8-4 PM. Tuesday-Thursday range from 1 PM to 7 PM. Saturday sessions are available at 10 AM and 11 AM.

Do you accept insurance?

No, I do not accept insurance. Instead, I offer low-cost, affordable sessions to make counseling accessible without the complexities of insurance.

What is a Good Faith Estimate (GFE)?

A Good Faith Estimate (GFE) is a document provided to clients under the No Surprises Act. It outlines the estimated costs of services you’ll receive, so you can plan financially and avoid unexpected fees. I’ll provide you with a GFE when you begin services with me.

How can I schedule a session?

Scheduling is easy! You can contact me via email, phone, or text. You can also schedule yourself through our client portal.

What is pajama Saturday?

Pajama Saturday is one of my favorite ways to keep therapy relaxed and approachable! It’s an opportunity to show up to your online session in your comfiest pajamas, no judgment, just a focus on making therapy feel like a safe, comfortable space.

What is your cancellation and no-show policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows will be charged a fee, as this time is reserved specifically for you.

What can I expect during my first session?

During the first session, we’ll get to know each other and discuss your goals for therapy. I’ll ask about your history, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve. It’s a collaborative process designed to help you feel comfortable and supported as we move forward. You have full control of what you want to share.

How can I contact you outside of session?

You can reach me via email or phone for non-urgent matters. I aim to respond promptly, typically within 24 hours. For emergencies, I encourage contacting local crisis resources or hotlines.

Can we be friends on social media platforms?

As a millennial, I’m constantly on social media, and I understand how important it is to stay connected. You are welcome and encouraged to follow my public social media pages related to Luminar Minds for updates, resources, and inspiration. However, to maintain professional boundaries, I do not connect with clients on personal social media. I want to ensure that our relationship remains focused on your therapeutic journey.
