Meet the Counselor

Hola! I’m Liliana (Lily) Aguilar Perez, M.Ed., LPC-Associate, supervised by Dr. Gregory S. Sparrow, LPC-S. I’m dedicated to creating a safe space for you. Here, you can explore new ways of being. You can get real with yourself and find peace in who you truly are. If you grew up in a tough, restrictive, or neglectful environment, you might feel like you’re always putting others first. You may also feel bad for taking care of yourself. I’m passionate about helping people heal those deep childhood wounds. I empower them to find balance in their nervous system. I support them in reconnecting with their inner child.

I have over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families. I started as a coach in 2012 and later became a therapist. I have a background in Family and Child Science, Public Health, and Clinical Mental Health. I take an eclectic, client-centered approach. I use CBT, DBT, and ACT. I also apply polyvagal theory and inner child work. I provide trauma-informed care and incorporate IFS-informed techniques. This approach helps me meet each client’s unique needs.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones. I engage in my extensive list of hobbies. I also love experiencing new things. Practicing self-care and listening to music are important to me.
